For a prism's and a pryamid's volume, they are the same with only one more step for the prism. the prisms is V=Bh and pyramids is V=1/3 Bh.
For a cylinder's and cone's volume is the same circumstances. cylinders V=Ah and cones is V=1/3 Ah.
B= area of base A=area of circle
the formulas for surface area and lateral area differ a lot for these figures.

Annabella Milbanke research
Annabella Milbanke was known as, to many others, as Lady Byron, but people close to her called her Annabella. She was vey smart when she was young andhad a tutor that used to be a Cambridge University professor. One of her main studies was math which she liked. This love led her husband to call her the Princess of Paralelllograms. She married Lord Byron and he hit a financial downfall and went insane soon before their first child was born. They eventually seperated after a long time of suspicion and she died from breast cancer.

The reason that the area formula for a rectangle, a square, and a paraellogram are the same is because you can make any of these with any of the other listed shapes like a rectangle int a parallelogram.
The estimated length and width of TN is 440 x 120 so the estimated area is 52,800 sq. mi.
the real area is 42,146 sp. mi.

First Blog Post
What I have learned in Ch 10 so far.
I have learned that a secant is a line that intersects a circle in exactly two points. I have also learned that an inscribed angle is nan anle that intersects an arc with the end point on the circke and the angle is half the arc. Also a central angle is the same measure for the angle as the arc also.
One question I stll have.
How can you solve for an arc that uses two tangents, but only gives you the angle?
A career that would use these equations for circles would be an architect if they had to construct a building that involved circular designs to make the angles of surrounding things the same an in line with the rest.
